Here’s my review for Cinevue of the brilliant documentary about the Chinese artist and digital dissident Ai Wei Wei. Hapsical and I got a bit carried away after the screening in Sheffield and ‘Wei wei-ed’ some usual suspects, namely carbs, corporations and crap coffee.

Like the Ping Wei films, LAND OF THE DRAGON is a 30-minute documentary that offers a rare glimpse of life inside China.
He is the subject of the 2012 documentary film Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry , directed by American filmmaker Alison Klayman, which received a special jury prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and opened the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival , North America’s largest documentary festival, in Toronto on 26 April 2012.
